Representatives from Joon No's Taekwondo in Doncaster shone at the Oceania Championships. Benecia Cheong and Callan Hatherley, the youngest female and male members of the Australian team, won gold and bronze respectively at the event on the Gold Coast earlier this month. Cheong, 14, represented Australia in the female under -44kg category, beating a New Zealand competitor and an Australian teammate in a clear-cut victory. It's been a top year for Cheong, who claimed bronze at this year's World Culture Expo Korea A Match. Hatherley, also 14, snared his medal in the male under -48kg category.
