I give permission for my son/daughter/myself to participate in this activity.

I understand that 'Martial Arts' is a physical activity and will require a certain level of physical contact. I give permission for my child to participate (under 18 years old), or over 18. I agree and understand the activities set out by Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) at my own child's risk and that Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) or its instructors cannot be held liable for any injuries sustained during tournaments, demonstration, and training.

I give Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) full authority to use photography/video images of my child/myself for marketing and promotional purposes. I understand and agree that all rights to my photographs belong solely to Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) and could be used indefinitely.

Service Description

I understand that Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) runs multiple different packages throughout the year, so the package that I have chosen will and can only be the package that I have paid for. Depending on the package selected, the number of classes that the student may attend will vary. The packages cannot be used otherwise. The trial lessons will follow the selected lesson plan set by the instructor and may vary from class to class.

Delivery Policy

The Starter Package begins once a first trial lesson has been booked with Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) and will expire exactly two weeks from the date of the first trial lesson. Bookings can be made over the phone, in person, or through email and the obligation is upon the customer to contact Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) to begin the trial package. Following the first lesson, trial lessons may be attended within the two-week period without organizing a booking according to the current timetable at the center.

Refund Policy

Refunds are only permitted prior to participation in a trial lesson. Once a class has been attended or uniform has been worn, the service is non-refundable.

Privacy Policy

Customer personal information collected will be stored securely and will only be used to contact you in regard to Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD).

Health & Safety Policy

Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) has the right to refuse entry and training for any members showing symptoms of illness.

I as the member/parent/guardian understand and agree that membership with Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) commences from the date this agreement is signed.

Cancellation

I understand that payments will start immediately after the 2-week starter pack has been completed unless notified of cancellation prior to the commencement of full fees by direct debit.

For Direct Debit payments, 48-49 weeks of classes are spread over 52 weeks of payments. The payment plan you have entered into has regular payments scheduled throughout the year to make budgeting easier. It has been set up so that rather than a large single payment for your program, you pay a low, regular payment rate spread out over a period of time.

It is an interest-free plan that is based on a program of training, and the fees have been calculated to take into account the scheduled breaks when your academy is closed i.e. Public Holidays, December break period, grading days, competitions, school holiday break period, etc. This means your payments continue throughout the calendar year; they are not dependent on the academy being open.

By signing this agreement, I accept that payments are to be organized in this manner and agree that there will be no refunds or payment suspensions due to grading days, competition days, school holiday break periods, public holidays, and the December break period.

I understand that if I wish to pay by our cash upfront option, I can only pay 12 months upfront. If I choose this option, I am committing to a minimum 12-month term and the upfront payment cannot be refunded if I were to terminate the agreement before the minimum term.

When canceling I must provide written notice and organize an appointment to complete the necessary cancellation paperwork. Payment will only cease 30 days after receiving the cancellation notice.

Any changes in membership structure or fees will require 2 weeks' notice. Any changes to membership structure or payment changes will have a minimum term of one month before any changes can occur.

I agree as a parent, Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) is not responsible for the supervision of my child(ren). Once my child(ren) have left the training area, I agree that Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) is not responsible for the supervision or any injuries that may occur outside the gym premises. It is a requirement that for the safety of my child(ren), any child(ren) under 16 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/guardian when leaving the gym premises or entering the car park.

I understand that this is a full-contact sport and therefore obliged to declare that myself/my child is free of any serious transmissible diseases, including Hepatitis and HIV.

Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) has the right to refuse entry and training for any members showing symptoms of illness.

Payment Holds and Refunds

I acknowledge and agree that I will maintain membership and pay the dues specified to Joon No's Taekwondo (JNTKD). I agree that I will be liable for dues for the entire term of this agreement in the amounts as stated herein regardless of usage or any change of circumstance. I agree that fees are payable in advance and must be paid by the due date. I acknowledge that all fees paid are non-transferable and non-refundable if the member stops training temporarily or withdraws from the club.

I agree that there will be no refunds if my child/myself is absent from class including the reasons of illness, vacation, family commitments, and extra-curricular activities. I accept that there are no replacement classes for any missed class.

I understand that Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) will be closed for a 3-4 week period over the December public holidays.

I understand that if I wish to hold my payment for any reason, I can only request a payment suspension for no less than 4 weeks and no more than 8 weeks. It is my responsibility to provide notice to Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) administration of a holds request prior to the duration that I will be away.

I agree that requests for membership holds due to illness or injury must be supplied with a medical certificate provided by a medical practitioner. The duration of the membership hold will be subject to what is stipulated by the medical certificate.

I acknowledge and agree that should a failed payment occur on my account, there will be a failed payment fee of $14.80 that will be automatically applied to my account.

Photography, Uniforms, and Code of Conduct

I give Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) full authority to use photograph/video images of my child/myself for marketing and promotional purposes. I understand and agree that all rights to my photographs belong solely to Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) and could be used indefinitely.

I understand that I may not purchase uniforms, sports equipment, and other miscellaneous martial arts products from external sources that my child/myself will then wear or bring to training without prior approval by Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD). Only Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) approved merchandise is allowed for use on all internal and external training activities and is only available for purchase from an authorized Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) gym/retailer without prior approval from Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD).

I agree as a student/parent, to behave in a respectable manner to all parents, students, and staff at the club or at club events. This includes minimizing distractions and interruptions to the class, settling crying children, or minimizing loud noises when myself/my children are waiting for class to begin/finish to the best of my ability.

In signing this contract, I am agreeing to only confidentially discuss directly with Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) staff any issues concerning and not limited to cancellation of contract, adding another sibling or relative to the payments, suspending payments and my/my child's progress in training. I understand that it is important to maintain clear communication between my child, his/her instructors, and myself.

If I breach this agreement, Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD) reserves the right to terminate my membership without notice.

By signing below, I certify that I have read/been read to, understand and comply with all rules, policies, conditions, and regulations of Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD). I agree to hold harmless all branches of Joon No’s Taekwondo (JNTKD), its directors, agents, employees, and representatives from and against all liability claims, suits, damages, levies, costs, losses, and fees arising out or related to my activities or actions during my membership and trial period.
