JOON No's Taekwondo team brought back a swag of medals from the recent 2010 Taekwondo National Championships at the AIS in Canberra. The championships attracted 1700 athletes from the country, as well as international competitors. Competition was fierce and tough with many athletes in each weight category, but Joon No's Taekwondo team, led by Grandmaster Joon No, collected 21 medals.
One of those winning gold was Brighton star Jerome Tseitlin.
Tseitlin, 18, moved a step closer to his dream of competing at the 2012 Olympics in London by also winning a gold medal at the Olympics Qualification and World Championships Selections.
The selections, held at the AIS, are one of five to be used to choose athletes for the 2012 Olympics in London and 2011 World Championships in Korea.
Tseitlin, a student at Monash University, trains six times a week at Joon No's Taekwondo's Burwood and Brighton branches.
Tseitlin says his success is a result of hard work, dedication, focus and good guidance from his master.
Grandmaster Joon No, who has taught him since he was six.
