STUDENTS from Joon No's Taekwondo will compete in this month's World Cadet Championships. Siblings Jason and Jessica Wynn, who train at the school's Manningham branch, qualified at the Australian Open selection event in Melbourne in June and will leave for Korea this week. The World Cadet Championships were introduced last year to give younger athlets, aged 12 to 14, an opportunity to compete at international level before they graduate to junior and senior competition.

Joon No, who has been appointed coach of the Australian team, said: I'm very happy with Jason and Jessica qualifying on the team to the Worlds. It's rewarding to have our younger athletes starting to compete at world level."
